In this video I exercise what's called gold sniping! Its when you snorkel in a river sniping out pieces of gold with hand tools. Sniping for gold is my favorite thing to do because of how easy it is to find gold and not create a mess like what gold panning, or highbanking does. When you snipe for gold, sometimes you will find things like platinum or other rare minerals (depending on your area). I got lucky enough to have found my first platinum nugget, and the second piece in my collection!

Welcome out to one of the wildest but also one of the most beautiful rivers I've ever prospected for gold, I'll be spending two days camped out in the bush exploring the upper reaches of a dangerous river in the search for gold nuggets. On a previous trip with my mate Rob Parsons I scored a nice 2.4g nugget, since that trip I’ve been keen to get. Ack in and see if there’s more nuggets hiding in this location.
I'll be climbing through a large gorge to get to the gold deposits above, trying to avoid venomous tiger snakes and enduring some of the most brutal terrain I'm yet to navigate. Will I make it through safely and what sort of gold lays hidden in the crevices above. One things for sure it's bound to be an epic adventure.

Well it happened again, and I broke another gold record while hunting for gold in New Zealand by finding the biggest gold nugget to date! I am on another rich gold creek that was missed by the gold rush. I put on my wetsuit and did what I do best which is sniping for gold and within 8 hours, I found over an ounce of gold (again) and my biggest gold nugget, breaking my last gold record! I did it, I actually did it! You won't believe this find! I recently uncovered a once in a lifetime Gold Nugget in the Australian bush. This was not on private property or from a mine site just sitting a few feet under the dirt in a nondescript area.. Oh what a feeling this was! I had a pretty good feeling it was going to be gold from the top but with my history of digging deep holes for rubbish I still had my doubts, as well as seeing what looked to be charcoal at the bottom of the hole.. At the end of the roller coaster of emotions it turned into the most amazing high after discovering it was actually a Multiple Ounce Gold Nugget! I am so grateful to be one of few people lucky enough to dig out a Gold Nugget of this size! It has taken me consistent prospecting for 4 years, 10's of thousands of dollars, 10's of thousands of kilometres and many hours of hard work and mental battles to reach this goal! 🇬🇧 Skarra Mucci, a Jamaican artist from Kingston, recorded his first song at the age of 9 for the famous producer Harry J. This first single exploded all over the island and directly projected the young artist into the world of sound systems, that he will never leave!
At the end of the 90s, Skarra Mucci flew to Europe and more precisely to Switzerland. It is then Germany that will get to know the future "Dancehall President" and will take him to a new solo level with his first album "Rise and Shine" released in 2007.
In 2012, he released the breathtaking "Return of the Raggamuffin" which was a worldwide success and offered him the victory of the best Reggae album in France and made him tour all over the world, the first international tour was launched. A real turning point for him, he took advantage of this success to meet his audience on a memorable Raggamuffin Revival Tour alongside Soom T and Naâman.
While Skarra Mucci is where we imagine to be the climax of his young career, the French label Undisputed Records signs the artist in 2014 and releases what will become a classic album "Greater than Great" then "Dancehall President" in 2016. He confirms his status as a key figure in Reggae/Dancehall whose all-terrain flow and voice are recognizable among a thousand and make audiences around the world dance during a tour through no less than 22 countries!
Today, Skarra Mucci continues his collection of featurings, a repertoire which includes an impressive number of iconic collaborations, in particular with Jamaican legends such as Beenie Man, T.O.K., Horace Andy, Johnny Osbourne or main French acts like Dub Inc', Danakil, Yaniss Odua to name just a few.
His vocal versatility will also lead him to collaborate with producers from all around the world, including the iconic French collective L'Entourloop, with whom he recorded the massive hit "Dreader Than Dread" and the critically acclaimed EP "Golden Nuggets" (2019).
Since 2018 marked by the release of his album "Skarra Mucci & the One Love Family", the Dancehall President is back to business and announces his 8th studio album with multiple influences "Perfect Timing", to be released on Sept 29, 2023.
